According to Wright (2003, p. 112), Marcus Yowytewa (spelled Yowyetewa in the row), of the Sand clan at Hotevilla, began silverwork in 1995 and learned from his father, Earl Yowytewa; his mark is the initials MY. [1]
Wright (2003, p. 110) lists his brother Faron Yowytewa, also of the Sand clan at Hotevilla, as beginning in 1994 after learning from their father, Earl, and using initials or a script name never used by his uncle Hubert [1]
Wright (2003, p. 82) lists Hubert Yowytewa, of the Reed clan at Bacavi, as beginning in 1965 after learning from his father, Arthur Yowytewa, and at Hopicrafts; he used his initials with his father's sun symbol, and the listing records his death in 1991. [1]
