Carve
Choose your stone, pick your wax form, and sculpt your design with guided instruction from our team. Rings, pendants, earrings — the choice is yours.
Cast
We take your wax creation and cast it using the ancient lost-wax method — in bronze, .925 sterling silver, or 14k gold — right here in our New Mexico workshop.
Collect
Pick up your finished piece in about three weeks. Hand-polished, set with your chosen stone, and completely one-of-a-kind. We also ship nationwide.

Two costs: wax (carving + casting service + stone setting) and metal (material by weight). Your $45 credit is applied at checkout.

What to Expect
Everything you need to know before your session.
How long is a session?
2 hours for the carving portion. Your piece is then cast in our workshop and ready for pickup or shipping in approximately 3 weeks.
Do I need any experience?
Absolutely not. Most of our guests have never made jewelry before. Our instructors walk you through every step — from choosing your wax to finishing your carving.
What can I make?
Pendants, rings, earrings, charms — the choice is yours. Our team helps you design something that will work beautifully when cast in metal. We'll guide you on what translates well from wax to metal.
What metals are available?
Bronze (included in the $75 session credit for most pieces), .925 sterling silver, and 14k gold. Silver and gold are priced based on the weight of your finished piece at current market rates.
Can I choose a gemstone?
Yes! Every session includes stone setting. Choose from genuine turquoise, lab-created gems, and crystals. Premium stones (genuine turquoise, larger gems) are available in our Deluxe session or as an upgrade.
What if I'm visiting Albuquerque?
Perfect — many of our guests are travelers. Attend your carving session during your trip, and we'll ship your finished piece to you anywhere in the US. Free shipping is included.
Can I bring friends or family?
Of course! Book individual sessions for everyone in your group. It's a great activity for couples, friends, or family. Email hello@tskies.com if you have a larger group and we'll help coordinate.
Is this a good gift?
It's one of the best. Our gift certificates never expire, and the recipient gets to choose what they make. It's personal, creative, and they walk away with real handcrafted jewelry.
What's the age requirement?
14+ with a guardian present, 18+ solo. This is real metalworking — sharp tools and hot wax are part of the process, but our instructors maintain a safe, guided environment.
What's the cancellation policy?
Full refund if cancelled 48 hours before your session. Cancellations within 48 hours receive a credit toward a future booking.
