Lonnie Willie is a Navajo silversmith active since the 1970s.
He appears in the Willie family cluster in Hougart alongside Juan Willie (active since 1990s, simple designs with exotic stones), Kimberly Willie (active since c. 2010, traditional set stones with roping bezels; daughter of Wes Willie), Laura Willie (mark: LAW), Ronnie Willie (stamp work, cabochons, applique, concho belts; father of Cody and Dakota Willie; marks: R W; "Ronnie Willie" script), Rudy Willie (traditional row bracelets, collaborates with wife Mary), and Wes Willie (large bead work, concho belts; multiple award winner; mark: WW).
The alternate script mark "Lon Willie" (single n) should be noted for authentication — it may appear on older pieces.
