Turquoise Skies is AHCOC’s Native Owned Business of the Year!

Congratulations to the artists of Turquoise Skies and the Tskies Artist Co-Op! Our company has been named Native Owned Business of the Year by the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce’s annual Hispanic Heritage Awards. Each year the Chamber nominates businesses in ten different categories. Community members are then given the opportunity to vote for their favorite business in each area.

Recognition for the hard work and dedication put in by the artists and staff of Turquoise Skies is greatly appreciated. This has been an incredible year for us. We appreciate everyone who took the time to cast their vote for Turquoise Skies. And we appreciate all those who helped our company grow this year. 

As we head into a new year, everyone at Turquoise Skies is looking forward to finding even more ways to meet the needs of our community and our customers. We are looking to expand our Co-Op and to offer more educational opportunities for young artists. Our wish is that those seeking to learn the skills of jewelry making will find at home at Tskies. We also hope to continue partnering with other businesses and educational institutions to create internships and mentorships.
