Vee Kee

Biography by Mateo James

Vee Kee — Navajo silversmith hallmark namecard

Overview

Vee Kee is a Navajo silversmith active since the 1980s, working in stamp work. Hougart's entry is a single short line — the mark line fixes the identity: VEE KEE. We publish it because the mark is real and collectors will meet it; the record says nothing more.

The Mark

"…. Active since 1980s. Stamp work. Mark: VEE KEE"
— Hougart, Bille. Native American and Southwestern Silver Hallmarks, 5th ed. (2022).

The marks as documented in Hougart's hallmark reference: VEE KEE.
