Zuni · documented in the T.Skies hallmark reference library

Norbert Haskie is a Zuni silversmith active since the 1970s, working in needlepoint.

Needlepoint is a precision Zuni lapidary technique in which small, elongated, pointed turquoise cabochons are set in close rows to create a needle-like pattern. It demands exceptional consistency of stone cutting and silversmithing to achieve the uniform taper that defines the style.

Note: The Hougart entry appears adjacent to Vernon C. Haskie (1968–; Navajo), a Navajo silversmith and 2012 SWAIA Best-in-Jewelry award winner. The two are documented as separate artists from distinct nations (Zuni vs. Navajo) and are not confirmed as related.
