Kewa (Santo Domingo Pueblo) · documented in the T.Skies hallmark reference library
Nelson Garcia (born 1955) is a Kewa (Santo Domingo Pueblo) silversmith active since the 1970s, working in stamp work and set stones in silver and gold.
Kewa (formerly called Santo Domingo Pueblo) has a long tradition in heishi shell work and silversmithing. Set stones — placing cut or tumbled gemstones in silver bezels — is among the most characteristic Kewa-area techniques alongside stamp work.
