# Myron Panteah — Zuni/Navajo Silversmith
Myron Panteah (1966–2016; Zuni/Navajo) worked in silver jewelry (including old style with stamp work), flatware and sculpture, incorporating petroglyph design elements, set stones, gold applique, cut-out and piercing work. He was the nephew of Glenn Paquin (Laguna/Zuni). He was awarded the 1998 SWAIA Fellowship and the Patricia McFate / Sydney Beal Fellowship.
His uncle Glenn Paquin was the son of Pete Paquin and husband of Opal Paquin, with sons Allen Bruce, Lee Allen, and Neal Paquin — a related Laguna/Zuni silversmithing family. Myron Panteah's mark is documented in two forms, distinguishing his Zuni and his full-name marks.
