Weaver Selina — Hopi Silversmith Hallmark
Weaver Selina learned silversmithing at Hopicrafts. Margaret Nickelson Wright's Hopi Silver, a register of Hopi smiths and their hallmarks, records Weaver Selina as a member of the Sun's Forehead clan from Shungopavi who began silverwork in 1967 and was still working when her list was compiled (Wright 2003, p. 83).
The hallmark
Wright labels the mark "Sun's Forehead." The printed drawing shows an upward-opening arc with a short upright line at its top center and an out-curving ray at each end, above a separate rounded bar (Wright 2003, p. 83).

Schaaf (2003, p. 191) named Weaver Selina as the student of the Hopi overlay smith Eldon James, one of the first silversmiths at Hopicrafts. [3]
Schaaf (2003, p. 255) recorded that the Hopi overlay smith Loren Phillips, who lived from about 1954 to 2001, collaborated sometimes with Weaver Selina, and listed Weaver Selina's Gallery on Second Mesa among the teachers of his brother George Phillips. [3]
