Tony Kyasyousie — Hopi Silversmith Hallmark
Tony Kyasyousie learned silversmithing at Hopicrafts and worked there. Margaret Nickelson Wright's Hopi Silver, a register of Hopi smiths and their hallmarks, records Tony Kyasyousie as a member of the Greasewood clan from Hotevilla who began silverwork in 1969 (Wright 2003, p. 84). Tony Kyasyousie died in 1993.
The hallmark
Wright labels the mark "Rabbit Stick 1975." The printed drawing shows a bent, L-shaped throwing stick with a narrow straight handle at its lower-left end and small line markings on its wide part, beside the small capital letters TK (Wright 2003, p. 84).
