Tom Etsitty

Tom Etsitty — Navajo silversmith hallmark namecard

Overview

Tom Etsitty is a Navajo silversmith documented in Hougart's hallmark reference as a silversmith for Canyon Silver Company (not yet in the directory). Beyond that shop affiliation and his mark, Hougart's entry is a single line — we publish it because the mark is real and collectors will meet it.

Collector's caution: T. E. is an initials-only mark. Initials-only stamps are the easiest to confuse across makers, so read a T. E. stamp together with the piece's style, construction, and any shop provenance — the Canyon Silver Company connection is the useful anchor here — before attributing.
