Under his wife Lela's entry, Schaaf (2003) dated the couple's mark:

“stamps or engraves RLC, 1973-?”
— Schaaf (2003), p. 108 [1]

Schaaf (2003, p. 109) recorded Roger Cellicion as Zuni, active from the 1960s into the 1980s in mosaic, channel inlay and carved stone jewelry, with the Sunface, Longhair Kachinas and Comanche Chiefs among his favorite designs and Cameron Trading Post among his galleries. [1]

Motif names follow the captions in Bassman and Bassman (2006), an outside observers' record; the Zuni people are the authority on the meaning of their own sacred figures.

Bassman and Bassman (2006, p. 37) pictured an inlay Rainbow God bola tie of turquoise, coral, jet and mother-of-pearl, made in 1970 by Lela and Roger Cellicion. [2]
