Martin Panteah — Zuni Silversmith
Martin Panteah is a Zuni channel inlay jeweler who works with Esther Panteah. Bille Hougart's Native American and Southwestern Silver Hallmarks lists him as Zuni, born 1946, working in channel inlay and contemporary mosaic jewelry and setting stones, and records that he and Esther share stamps (Hougart 2022, p. 237).
Theda and Michael Bassman's Zuni Jewelry pictures a raised inlay bracelet of coral made in the 1980s by Esther and Martin Panteah (Bassman and Bassman 2006, p. 31).
His hallmark
Hougart gives the marks M.T. PANTEAH and MARTIN & ESTHER PANTEAH, the second shared with Esther (Hougart 2022, p. 237).
