Harry Nutumya learned from Loren Phillips and began silverwork in 1992, according to Margaret Nickelson Wright's Hopi Silver, a register of Hopi smiths and their hallmarks (Wright 2003, p. 108).

Bille Hougart's Native American and Southwestern Silver Hallmarks lists him as "Harry Nutumya (1956-; Hopi)," working in overlay and active since the 1990s (Hougart 2022, p. 230).

His hallmark

Wright labels his mark "Rabbit & Name" (Wright 2003, p. 108). Hougart gives his marks as "H NUTUMYA (formed into an arc); a rabbit" (Hougart 2022, p. 230).
