Gloria Yellowhorse

Biography by Mateo James

Overview

Hougart documents Gloria Yellowhorse as a Navajo silversmith working in shadowbox and twisted wire, set with exotic stones — the sister of Artie Yellowhorse, Betty, Frank Yellowhorse, and Jane Yellowhorse — and the mother of Richard "Little" Yellowhorse (not yet in the directory).

Hougart gives her years as 1946 to 2013 (Hougart 2022, p. 349).

Her mark is her own name in script.
