Brian Holmes — Hopi Silversmith
Brian Holmes learned from Emory Holmes and began silverwork at Hotevilla in 1992, according to Margaret Nickelson Wright's Hopi Silver, a register of Hopi smiths and their hallmarks (Wright 2003, p. 107).
Bille Hougart's Native American and Southwestern Silver Hallmarks lists him as "Brian Holmes (Hopi)," working in overlay and active since the 1990s (Hougart 2022, p. 141).
His hallmark
Wright labels his mark "Rabbit Track & Spider Web" (Wright 2003, p. 107). Hougart gives it as "Rabbit track (with straight line)" (Hougart 2022, p. 141).
