If you love our signature collections, our one-of-a-kind pieces are going to knock your socks off.
During the great (but not so great) lockdown of 2020, many Native American artists who work as full-time jewelers to support themselves and their families were unable to sell their work at the markets that usually happen during the year. As a way to support and help them, Turquoise Skies started a live jewelry sale on Saturdays where we bring on a local jewelry artist and dedicate the show to selling their work.
We still have our Saturday shows that we dedicate to one artist, but that show was such a success that we grew our live jewelry sales to include several days a week. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays we sell unique, handcrafted Southwestern jewelry that we source from the local jewelry community, paying them fairly and ethically for their work.
Our biggest goal at T.Skies is empower other jewelry artists, educate our viewers about authenticity in Indigenous jewelry and Southwestern jewelry materials — such as identifying real turquoise. Additionally we hold live jewelry auctions to raise funds and support for our 501c3 the T.Skies Jewelers Initiative (www.tskiescoop.com), and facilitate educational live interviews with members of the community though our Digging Deep Series.
